"Loh Hei" .. "Huat ah!"

The tranditional EC DR "loh hei" lunch was organised for its Chinese staff during the Chinese New Year. The staffs had a great time getting together and have a sumptuous meal. The lunch was organised by Mr Ho Thiam Chwee.

Singapore Robotics Games 2009, Micromouse Open Cat

Singapore Robotics Games 2009, Science Centre, Singapore, 20-22 Jan 2009. Micomouse Open Cat. This year, there were total of 29 entries participated in the Singapore Robotic Games, Mircomouse Open Category event; 11 entries from Nanyang Polytechnic, 2 entries from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 12 entries from Institute of Technical Education, 2 entries from India and 2 entries from Iran. The Team clinched the 2nd - 7th positions and we also managed to win the fastest mouse title.

Higher Nitec in Security System Integration

Staff from EC DR team has developed a new course, Higher Nitec in Security System Integration, with the our industrial partner, SSAS. The course is set to take in the 1st batch of students in Apr 2009. This course was covered in the newspapers together with other new course on 13 Jan 2009. Below is an extract from the article.

Official visit to St Luke's Hospital



An offical visit to St Luke's Hospital was organised to initiate the PROGS project. The visit was headed by Principal ITE College West, Dr. Yek, and the team was received by the CEO of St Luke's Hospital.
