Staff from EC DR team has developed a new course, Higher Nitec in Security System Integration, with the our industrial partner, SSAS. The course is set to take in the 1st batch of students in Apr 2009. This course was covered in the newspapers together with other new course on 13 Jan 2009. Below is an extract from the article.

ITE’S NEW HIGHER NITEC COURSES SET TO PLUG MANPOWER GAPS IN THE VARIOUS KEY INDUSTRIES

To address the manpower needs of these sectors, ITE will be launching four new
full-time courses leading to the Higher National ITE Certificate or Higher Nitec, come April.
These courses are:
• Higher Nitec in Business Studies (Customer Contact Services)
• Higher Nitec in Leisure & Travel Operations
• Higher Nitec in Business Information Systems
• Higher Nitec in Security System Integration
